ENSO Bottles...Earth Friendly....Sustainable

Recently there has been a lot of talk about the overuse of "Green." I participated in a blog discussion where many of the responders said they were tired of hearing about products and corporations using (and misusing) green and that the term had lost its true meaning.

I believe this to be partially true. Being green has become "cool" and many times products which are labeled “green,” really aren't very environmentally friendly.

That's why I prefer the term "Sustainable." We here at ENSO bottles are adopting the concept of sustainability and are moving forward toward our goal of offering true cradle to cradle plastic bottles.
Our goals are:

. Provide plastic bottles that (1) Biodegrade, (2) Compost, (3) Recycle.

. Provide plastic bottles that are manufactured from non food based biofuels, which will reduce the amount of CO2 currently being released from sequestered carbon sources.

. Work toward promoting bio-reactors to replace traditional landfills which will facilitate biodegradation, and capturing/utilization of by products such as methane.

. Encourage the maximum utilization of our resources through recycling programs.
